What we have missed the most after 1 year of quarantine

What we have missed the most after 1 year of quarantine | One Day Cruise

If we exclude some short breaks that gave us a breath to continue the long way to the end of the coronavirus pandemic, we have been on an abnormal trajectory for a year now. In quarantine! Restrictions on movement, closed shops, bans on gatherings, closed cafes, bars and restaurants, sports venues, restrictions on our travels were psychologically tiring. Let's see what we have missed the most after all this time.

Walks

Almost the whole of last year we were deprived of walks, like, wherever and with whomever we would like. Even today, we can not meet friends or relatives who live far away from us. Nor to dine in a restaurant, to drink our coffee or drink without being with the clock in hand.

Shopping

With the exception of the days when the shops opened, we can not enjoy shopping in the shops as before. We limit ourselves to a simple walk. Just looking at the shop windows while the shutters remain lowered.

Excursions and trips

The change of performances is often frequent and whenever it allows us, our wallet is always valuable. Especially in the summer, in order to recharge our batteries, to rest and live new experiences. Prohibition of travel from county to county, restricted flights and special-purpose routes only kept us away from favorite old or new destinations. They deprived us of our vacation. Even a day trip by road or to a favorite island, such as the nearest Argosaronikos, is now complicated. Since it is forbidden to leave the borders of the prefecture where we live and as the movements are allowed for a specific time. As for travel abroad, there is no reason why lockdown is prevalent almost all over the world.

Celebrations

All the holidays of the year that made for amazing three days, Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays were lost ingloriously. Birthdays, celebrations and gatherings with our loved ones, with grandparents and parents, on the occasion of an important anniversary unfortunately should be postponed for the near, hopefully, future. So what have we missed the most? Life as we knew it!
