Finally, Julian Arp, a career cellist throughout Europe, the first cello of the O / Modernt Chamber Orchestra and a professor at the Graz Music Academy.
This year's program includes the famous second piano trio by Franz Schubert D.929, the masterpiece but rarely played trio with piano No. 3 op. 110 by Robert Schumann, the string sextet op. 36 by Johannes Brahms, the K 593 string quintet of W.A. Mozart, the so-called "American" string quartet by Antonin Dvorak, and Nikos Skalkotas' violin and viola duo, honoring the 70th anniversary of the death of the great Greek composer. With the selection of these important works of musical literature, some of which are known to a wider audience, while other are rarely played, musicians seek to communicate with a new audience through distinctive musical sounds, seeking the cultural upturn of communities.
