An International Festival Honoring Nikos Kazantzakis Unfolds in Hydra
From July 6th to 8th, 2023, an internationally acclaimed festival dedicated to Nikos Kazantzakis will grace the Historical Archive-Museum of Hydra. The festival enjoys the patronage of the Region of Attica and is a collaborative effort between the Eleni Kazantzakis Mobile Museum, the Hydra Museum, and the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum in Myrtia, Crete – the birthplace of the renowned author.
A unique exhibition awaits art lovers who will visit Hydra until October 31, 2022. It is the solo exhibition entitled Apollo by the internationally renowned American artist Jeff Koons. The exhibition, which is inspired by the god Apollo, is hosted in the Project Space of the DESTE Foundation at the site of the old Slaughterhouse in Hydra.
