The constellation Hydra is one of the 88 constellations officially established in 1922 by the International Astronomical Union. It is one of the constellations that cannot be seen with the naked eye. As with other celestial bodies, it fades into the sky. Or one needs special binoculars and ideal observation conditions to see him.
Paleochora or Paliachora is also known as "Mystras of Aegina" as its castle is built in the same style as that of Mystras. It was built by the locals around the 9th century AD. in order to protect them from the naval raids of the Saracen pirates.
Thanks to the diversity of its landscapes, in Greece one can find places reminiscent of different places from around the world. The same goes for Portes. This is a small pine-covered fishing village, isolated on the southeastern side of Aegina that many resemble the famous Capri. Hence the name "Capri of Greece".
